Description:
This hands-on workshop is intended for professional and emerging artists who would like to improve upon their artist statements and promotional materials. Bronx-based visual artist and arts writer Rebecca Allan will discuss basic strategies for developing, drafting, and editing your statement so that it accurately reflects your work and can also be adapted for grant applications, artist talks, and website content.
Participants are required to bring a copy of your existing artist statement or a short draft that we will work on during the workshop.
Enrollment Limited to 15 participants.
Preference given to Bronx-based artists.
