Experienced Knitting Instructor to Lead Workshops for Hospital Staff
The Healing Arts Program at Montefiore Medical Center is seeking experienced knitting instructors to lead a beginner’s knitting workshop series for Montefiore employees as part of our Relaxation and Renewal Program.
Our program will offer 6-week beginner’s knitting workshops at various Montefiore locations within the Bronx and lower Westchester; for this reason we require instructors who own transportation.
Instructors will guide associates in the art of knitting, by teaching the basic skills needed to create a handmade baby blanket. Participants have the option to donate their blankets to babies in Montefiore’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
